Hello everyone, I'm Nishino, the sales manager at Orinas.

This time, we had the opportunity to interview Mr. Shiraishi, the president of Dahlia Ginza Skin Clinic. For the past two years, we have been supporting a variety of websites, from Instagram photo shoots and website creation for cosmetic brands to the creation and operation of clinic websites, and even the creation of Mr. Shiraishi's own cat blog.

We spoke frankly with President Shiraishi, who is particular about design, about the challenges he faced, what he wanted to focus on, and why he chose Orinas!

The Newly Opened Clinic's Commitment

Nishino: President Shiraishi, thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. I'd like to get straight to the point, but first, please tell us about your company's business.

Shiraishi: Yes. We operate a variety of stores, mainly in the Ginza area, including Dahlia Ginza Skin Clinic, the beauty salon Blanche on the third floor of the same building, and the club Blair.

Nishino: I think there are many beauty clinics in Ginza, but what motivated you to open Dahlia Ginza Skin Clinic, and what are the clinic's specialties?

Shiraishi: It all started with me wanting to open a clinic that brought together all the good elements from the beauty-related experiences I'd had up until then. I also happened to be running a beauty salon in the same building, so the fact that there was already a beauty-related trend there encouraged me to do so. The theme is to be beautiful both inside and out.

The reason we chose a cosmetic dermatology clinic rather than a cosmetic surgery clinic is because internal medicine and dermatology emphasize beauty from the inside out, not just the outside. Your skin clearly reflects the state of your body. We chose this location because we wanted to cherish the entire process: getting your makeup and hair done at the beauty salon downstairs, and then having your skin and body beautified at the clinic upstairs.

Nishino: I see. Listening to you talk, it really does feel like Ginza is President Shiraishi's backyard!

Shiraishi: I've been here for about eight years.

Nishino: That could also be used as a garden...

They Provided Us with Advance Proposals for the Design Image and Worked Closely with Us to Fine-Tune It

Nishino: I believe that President Shiraishi has a variety of external connections, so I would like to know what prompted you to contact our company and what challenges you faced at the time.

Shiraishi: I think it was two years ago that I first asked Orinas to help me, and at the time my goal was to express an impression of being “fashionable” or “stylish” on the web. At the time, I wanted to start a website and Instagram for the brand I was handling, and Orinas was introduced to me. They were very good at presenting things in a fashionable way, and I heard they could do the job well, so I decided to ask them to help me.

Nishino: Thank you. Looking at your Instagram, you seem to be a pro when it comes to presentation, but was there anything that you couldn't do yourself at the time?

Shiraishi: I couldn't make the homepage myself. And then there's the photos. In mail order sales, photos are the “face” of the business, so I wanted to leave it to a proper professional. Once, I asked another company to take product photos, but the results weren't very satisfactory, so I asked Orinas to take them again.

Nishino: What specifically were you dissatisfied with at the time?

Shiraishi: The fact that they didn't make any suggestions. We did communicate the general idea of “I want to shoot something like this” and “I want photos that are easy to use on the website,” but we proceeded without any specific suggestions or adjustments, so in the end the finished product wasn't very good. Before the shoot, Orinas suggested “How about this?”, so it was good that we were able to agree on the image.

Nishino: Was the reason you chose our company because of the trust we had in you through an introduction?

Shiraishi: That was one factor, but I had also looked at some of the case studies that Orinas had produced in the past, and they made suggestions very quickly from the start, and they were easy to understand, so I asked them to actually produce the product.

Nishino: It's true that when the president is on the front line, speed is very important.

Not Only the Design but Also the SEO Effect Was Realized

Nishino: Thank you. I'm happy! Looking at the search rankings, “Ulthera,” the treatment your company is currently promoting, is ranked first, and “Thermage” is ranked third.

We also created a blog for President Shiraishi's beloved cats, Miruku and Momo. I imagine this was something you had a different passion for than your business, but what were your thoughts and priorities?

Shiraishi: I wanted to make the cats famous, and I wanted to express how cute they are through my blog.

Nishino: So, you placed a lot of emphasis on design?

Shiraishi: That's right. I like overseas-style designs, so I was given several suggestions for stylish, overseas-style site images, and I refined the image from those.

Nishino: Thank you. Finally, if you have the opportunity in the future, would you recommend our company? If so, what would you recommend us for?

Shiraishi: I think it's great that they have strict deadlines and work quickly. I would also like to mention that they provide proposals at the beginning and then start production after we've coordinated our ideas.

At the moment, we are only accepting requests to create websites and Instagram pages, but we would like to expand our business further, so we would be happy to ask you to help us launch new pages, etc.

For Dahlia Ginza Skin Clinic and its president, Mr. Shiraishi, the website and Instagram were important customer attraction tools that acted as the “face” of the clinic. As many of their customers are female and the president herself is also a woman, they were particularly particular about the design image.

It's hard to put into words the particularities and image, but I think this project was one in which President Shiraishi and Orinas were able to work out the details in advance and give it shape. For other businesses that will be developed in the future, we will strive to be able to proceed with design and production according to the services, products, and target!
